On August 24th, the unveiling ceremony of the Nigerian China Mining Federation was held at the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria. Ambassador Cui Jianchun attended and delivered a speech. More than 100 people participated, including the Nigerian China General Chamber of Commerce, the Nigerian China Mining Federation, representatives of Chinese enterprises, and overseas Chinese living in Nigeria.

Cui Jianchun stated that Nigeria has abundant mineral resources and broad prospects for cooperation in the mining industry between China and Nepal. The establishment of the Nigerian China Mining Federation will provide an information sharing and mutual assistance platform for Chinese mining enterprises in Nigeria, injecting new vitality into the healthy and orderly development of the industry.

Wu Dayang, the first president of the Nigerian China Mining Federation, stated that he will lead member enterprises, uphold the spirit of sincere unity, strengthen communication and coordination with the Nigerian mining regulatory authorities, enhance information exchange among member enterprises, and continuously promote China Nepal mining cooperation to a new level.

After the unveiling ceremony, the Nigerian China Mining Federation conducted specialized training. Li Hui, General Manager of China Union Mining Co., Ltd., gave lectures on necessary mining certificates, main business forms, risks faced, and countermeasures, and conducted in-depth exchanges among various enterprises.
